EA-40 Transparent Amber Coating Epoxy Resin for Archers and Bowmen is an unfilled, low viscosity epoxy adhesive that can be easily spread and dispersed as thin films that are almost transparent after curing. Having a long pot life, EA-40® cures at room temperature within 24 hours, providing good mechanical and electrical properties. The mixing ratio is 1:1 by volume. When mixed in a 2A:1B ratio by volume, EA-40® will offer greater heat resistance and improved physical properties. EA-40® is versatile and can be used for many different assembly and repair applications, from jewelry plating to plumbing repairs. Spring makers consider EA-40® a great laminating resin. Meeting the performance requirements for EA-40®, MMM-A-188, Type III, its bonds are highly moisture resistant and provide good adhesion.
Use
Safety – Use in a properly ventilated area ("room size" ventilation). Wear safety glasses, long sleeves and rubber gloves to minimize the risk of contamination.
Materials should be stored and used in a warm environment (73°F / 23°C). These products have a limited shelf life and should be used as soon as possible.
